Università di Pavia
Alessandro Lascialfari is full professor at the Department of Physics of the University of Pavia (UNIPV). He got the MD in Physics in 1989 and the PhD in Physics in 1994. He teaches to MD/PhD students in Physics and in Medicine, and at the UNIMI Specialization School in Medical Physics (Director 2016-2019). He was in the group of founders of the BD/MD degree courses in Artificial Intelligence shared by UNIPV, UNIMI and University of Milano Bicocca. He coauthored more than 240 papers on international peer-reviewed journals. His research concerned mainly NMR, MuSR, SQUID, calorimetry, MRI and Magnetic Fluid Hyperthermia (MFH) techniques. He obtained important results in the study of spin dynamics of superconducting and magnetic systems. He investigated nano-structures as MRI and MFH agents, and was involved in research projects concerning the advanced and radiomic/AI analysis of MRI/CT medical data.
